Trading Cryptocurrency And Stocks Living With A Chronic Illness

Positives & Negatives To Trading Crypto, Forex and Stocks With A Chronic Illness.

‘When I’m trading I notice the pain in my body a lot less, this goes for anything that I have a passion for. I can get into this state of flow where times slows down and I feel a sense of freedom’

Feeling helpless and not having any control over your body is common when living with a chronic illness. When you’re able to find a hobby or activity that gives respite from the pain can be a Godsend.

There is a bear trap that can come with this, chasing this feeling can be addictive and when you aren’t experiencing this then you can easily get depressed. Focusing on the process rather than the money can help.

I’d like to share some positive & negatives that I’ve found from part time Forex, Crypto & Stock Trading.

Some positives are:

  1. It gives me a sense of purpose.
  2. I can do it from the comfort of my own home.
  3. I choose my hours.
  4. It’s stimulating but not overwhelming.
  5. It Feels like i’m contributing to my future.

There are some negatives to be aware of:

  1. There’s risk involved.
  2. There’s no guarantee.
  3. It can be emotional.
  4. Therefore I highly recommend a mentor & starting with paper trading!

Even though I still have a ways to go until I have healed from this chronic illness, trading has given me a glimmer of hope and most of all a sense of purpose! Please make sure to do your due diligence before trading, there are risks involved.

Take care,
